Higdon House Inn & Gardens

I would absolutely recommend the Higdon House Inn and Gardens to any bride looking for a beautiful venue with everything they could want! There are gorgeous gardens, a spacious, elegant reception pavilion for small or large weddings, and a one of a kind outdoor chapel. The staff helped with anything I needed from start to finish, answered any questions I had, and made me feel completely relaxed on my wedding day. Another amazing aspect of the Higdon House is that they offer inclusive weddings as well as weddings where you use their venue, but can bring in your own choice of vendors. So you can customize your wedding however you like. The staff was incredibly professional and a joy to work with. My family and friends are still telling me what a fabulous wedding we had, and that they had such a good time! My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience at the Higdon House Inn and Gardens!

Planning a wedding from 1,000 miles away was definitely not an easy task, but I knew as soon as I spoke with Jack that I had made the right choice in picking our venue. When I finally got to meet Jack, Harvey, and Kathryn, I knew instantly that our special day was in the right hands and would be nothing short of amazing.... boy was I ever right!!! Jack, Harvey, and the staff are completely wonderful, the grounds are beyond beautiful, Kathryn is amazing, and Matt, Cindy, Judy, Sugar Kneads, and Deer Run all did an exceptional job helping to make our perfect. We just cannot thank all of you enough.

One year ago today, at about this time, Luke and I were preparing to leave the Higdon House for our honeymoon. We had the most BEAUTIFUL wedding, and I remember being so giddy and just in awe of everything from the venue, to the staff, to the flowers, to the food, the DJ , the decor, the cake..just everything. And of course, my groom! It was a dream come true! Thank you Jack and staff for everything :)! Happy first anniversary!

THANK YOU Higdon House Staff* We decided on Higdon House Inn because it is a beautiful destination and we wanted to entrust our daughter's wedding to professionals. Harvey, Dianna and Katherine truly exceeded my expectations. We put our trust in their hands and were not disappointed. Their expertise and customer focus was evident throughout the entire process. Harvey went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help resolve a problem with another vendor that was supposed to deliver the wedding cakes. With his help wedding cakes arrives in time for the cutting portion of the ceremony. Harvey, I can't thank you enough. I highly recommend the beautiful Higdon House Inn and expert staff as the perfect destination for a wedding.

I want to thank you Jack and Harvey (and the rest of the staff) for making my wedding (24 Mar 12) the most amazing day of my life. You all treated me like a friend instead of a client which was more than I could have ever dreamed of. There was never a second through the entire planning stage up until the day of that I didn't feel 100% secure and confident in you all. As I sit here and type I am truly at a loss for words on how to express my gratitude. David and I will recommend any and everyone that we know that are looking for a venue to you.
